Services and Prices

All rates displayed are for lessons lasting one hour, but 1.5 hour and 2 hour lessons are also available, charged pro-rata.

Introductory lessons for learner drivers with no previous experience: Two 1.5 hour lessons for £30.00: that is a rate of just £10.00 per hour*.

Standard Rates for Learner Drivers - applicable to any lesson commencing from 9am and finishing before 6pm on a weekday

1 x hour lesson - £22.00

Fee for use of the driving school vehicle during a driving test**
(includes a one-hour pre-test lesson) - £45.00

Peak time Rate for Learner Drivers - applicable to weekend lessons and any weekday lessons after 6pm

1 x hour lesson - £23.00

Save some money by block booking

Block of five lessons, pre-paid - £107.50 (£21.50 per hour)

Block of ten lessons, pre-paid - £210.00 (£21.00 per hour)

Block of twenty lessons, pre-paid - £400.00 (£20.00 per hour)

Full Licence Holder rates

Motorway lessons (per hour) - £28.00

Refresher lessons for Full Licence Holders (per hour) - £26.00

PassPlus course, 6 modules - £150.00

**Only applicable to those students who have taken at least five hours of training with Ridgway Driver Training. Applicable to tests taken at Birmingham Shirley and Birmingham Kings Heath.

A fuel and mileage surcharge will be added on to lessons or driving tests conducted outside of my normal working area: please telephone or email for details.

Ridgway Driver Training reserves the right to revise these prices at any time.

Appointments missed or cancelled by the Client with less than 48 hours notice to the Instructor will be subject to a charge of £20.00 per hour, charged pro-rata for lessons longer than an hour.
